Product Owner

Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Product Owner to interact with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs.
Product Owner responsibilities include collecting, analyzing, communicating and documenting requirements and user-testing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Get The Requirements from the client or the client’s representative.
  • Understand the technical details of the software product and be the liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Defines application problem by conferring with clients evaluating procedures and processes.
  • Provides a Software Requirements Specification.
  • Designs Use Case , Class and sequence diagrams.
  • Designs solution and provide prototype to development team.
  • Draws a prototype by using a wire-frame tool.
  • Facilitate requirements meetings, including the peer review sessions, and status meetings with clients and project team.
  • Conduct software integration activities between different internal and external software systems.
  • Controls solution by establishing specifications; coordinating production with programmers.
  • Configure systems through databases, routinely analyze data through SQL queries and generate custom reports.
  • Maintain client relations and communications with the account manager including status reporting and informal conversations.
  • Representing the client's or organization's interests.
  • Making sure that all the aims of the project are met.
  • Making sure that all the aims of the project are met with the quality standard.
  • By the end you will act with clients as a Marketer and deal with developers as an Engineer.
    Qualifications:
                1 to 3 years of experience in relevant field.

    • BSc Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field

    • Excellent written English language.

  • Specialized Knowledge: 

    • Awareness of Agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning and discussions.

    • Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Self-managed and self-motivated.

    • problem-solving skills.

    • Time management ,presentation and leadership skills.

    • Team  player.
    • Attention to details
    • Well-organized.
    • Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency situations efficiently.

    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Ability to handle non-satisfied customers.

Language:

  • Fluency written and spoken both English and Arabic.

Working conditions:

  • This position requires physical presence in Spirula’s office in Alexandria, Egypt. This is not a remote job.

  • This is a Full time job, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
